Dr. Stanley C. Evans
Dr. Evans is board certified in family medicine and received his D.O. degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Worth, Texas. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of North Texas in Denton, he began his post-graduate training at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas in Ft. Worth. His training includes family medicine, cardiology, sports medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, and ICU care. Dr. Evans was included to the National Honor Medical Fraternity, Sigma Sigma Phi. Dr. Evans also serves as the Chief of Staff at Denton Regional Medical Center in Denton, Texas.
Jisha Chacko, RN, MSN, FNP-BC
Jisha Chacko joined Family Healthcare of Denton in 2011. With her she brings over fourteen years of nursing experience. Prior to joining our team, she worked as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse at Denton Regional Medical Center. Jisha received her Master's Degree in Nursing from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her husband Alex and two wonderful children, Ria and Isaac.
Soraya D. Fletcher, DNP
Dr. Fletcher joined the Family Healthcare of Denton team in 2013. She brings over thirty years of health care experience to our practice. She has experience as a Registered Nurse, Gastroenterologist, Advanced Nurse Care Practitioner and Doctor of Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Fletcher has attended Vanderbilt Medical School in Nashville, Tennessee and Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Nursing Science. She is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners, American Nurse Association, American College of Gastroenterology, and Denton Association of Advance Nurse Practitioners and is Program Coordinator.
Meesun Sim, MD
Dr. Sim joined our practice in 2013. She attended the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine and obtained her M.D. there. She has also attended Davidson College for a Bachelor of Science Major in Chemistry and Minor in Music, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts where she completed her internship and residency training, and worked as a Hospitalist in Boston and then Denton, Texas prior to joining Dr. Evans. Dr. Sim also went to Cambodia for a medical mission and hopes to do more medical missions in the future. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, John and brother's family and nephews in Plano.
